FC Rubin reserves boss Roman Sharonov shares his postmatch impressions after his side lost 0-1 to FC Dinamo Moscow
- I´m pleased with the first half we played. Regarding attack, we should have delivered more through balls in the final third. In terms of defence, we pressed well, were solid and did not allow the opponent to create many chances. I´m not happy with the second half we played as we had few link-ups, struggled in attack, committed many unforced errors. Regarding our defensive performance in the second half, we managed to keep solidness but unfortunately lost too many 1x1 duels. There were too many unforced fouls we committed. Young players should remember to keep a cool head when pressing the ball and not to press when the situation is not favourable.
- It was 12 degrees below zero today. What do you think of playing a football game in such cold weather?
- We live in Russia, there are certain regulations we should follow. We would prefer to play on good pitches when it's good weather but it is a matter of the match calendar. We should obey the regulations and be focused on the game. I used to be a player and know how it feels to play in cold weather.
